Moments of Joy: Celebrating Mother’s Day with Dignity and Love

  • Published: 2 weeks ago
How our supporters helped bring smiles, connection, and care to families this Mother’s Day.

This Mother’s Day, we were delighted to host a special Mother’s Day Gift Table for the families we support. Thanks to the generous donations from Diva Charity, WMR (Sandler), and Hats for Humanity, we were able to create a beautiful and thoughtful gifting space for over 40 mothers – or their children – to select a special gift in celebration of Mother’s Day.

What We Offered
A selection of donated items was carefully arranged to allow children and mums themselves to choose something meaningful to honour and appreciate the incredible mothers in their lives. These items brought a sense of dignity, love, and celebration to women who are often navigating very challenging circumstances.

Heartfelt Feedback
The response from the women and families was overwhelmingly positive. We received many warm and genuine messages, including:

  • “Excited to give mum a gift for Mother’s Day.”
  • “Thank you, thank you – really grateful.”
  • “Feel special – very grateful.”
  • “Thank you for your generosity.”
  • “It’s my first Mother’s Day – I’m so grateful.”
  • “Very appreciated.”
  • “Thanks to all that donated.”

These messages reflect not just gratitude, but the deeper emotional impact of being remembered, celebrated, and acknowledged on a day that can otherwise feel isolating for some.

Thank You to Our Donors
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Diva Charity, WMR (Sandler), and Hats for Humanity for your support and generosity. Your contributions made it possible for these women and their children to experience joy, connection, and dignity this Mother’s Day.

Together, we made a real difference.
