Chair
Julia has over 10 years’ experience in commercial strategy and operations. Her experience has spanned technology, hospitality, and consumer goods sectors, both within start-ups and global corporations. She founded Women in Hospitality, an organisation aiming to further the career development of women in one of the largest industries globally. Having volunteered with The Deli since 2022, Julia feels strongly about The Deli’s contribution to social equality and its goal of providing vital services to those who need them most.
Mariela Gonzalez Alzati (she/her)
Secretary
Mariela is an accomplished and skilled senior leader with extensive multinational corporate leadership experience. She has knowledge in strategic thinking, operations, project management and change management and experience in leading high performance teams to deliver results. Her passion
for making positive social impact comes from her belief that with the right support and empowerment, people facing challenging situations can achieve better outcomes and thrive.
Ash Cooney (she/her)
General Manager
Ash is an authentic, values-driven leader with 15+ years’ experience in senior and executive roles across allied health, injury management and workplace wellbeing. She has led multidisciplinary teams and programs, with a focus on strategic leadership, service design and building high-performing, people-first cultures. At The Deli, Ash is committed to strengthening the organisation’s impact so women and children feel safe, connected and supported in their healing.
