Parenting Workshops

Mums, especially those caring for children impacted by domestic and family violence, can face many unique challenges. At times it is important for them to have extra help, support and connection to deal with parenting issues that arise.
We offer a range of free programmes throughout the school terms where our clients can learn:
- Effective parenting strategies
- How to promote a child’s development
- How to manage their own emotional regulation and reactivity
- How to support a child in regulating their emotions
The workshops offer a great opportunity for clients to connect with other local mums and grow their skills, knowledge and confidence.
All workshops are free to attend, though entry criteria may apply.
Free childminding is available during the workshop so that attendees can engage and focus on the learning experience. Availability is limited, so please advise if required on the referral form.
