Our volunteers support The Deli in many different ways, from helping with programs and events to fundraising, administration, governance, professional support and community activities.

Ways you can volunteer
There are many ways to get involved, depending on your skills, interests and availability. Whether you can give a few hours, support a one-off project, or volunteer regularly, we would love to hear from you. You may be able to help with:
Event Support
Supporting events, community days and fundraising activities.
Program Support
Assisting with programs and activities for women and children.
Administration & Skills
Helping with administration or office support, or contributing professional skills such as finance, marketing, legal, HR, governance, design or communications
Fundraising Activities
Supporting donations, hampers and community drives.
Collaboration & networking
Sharing ideas, connections or resources that can strengthen our work.
Who we're looking for
We welcome volunteers who are kind, reliable, respectful and community-minded.
You don’t need to have all the answers. What matters most is that you care about supporting women and children, understand the importance of confidentiality and respect, and are willing to contribute in a thoughtful and practical way.
Depending on the volunteer role, some positions may require screening checks, training, references or specific qualifications. This helps us keep The Deli safe, supportive and well-run for everyone who walks through our doors.
